We believe the path forward requires more than annual inspections and regulatory filings—it demands a new ecosystem of remote sensing, engineering rigor, inspection methodologies and transparent risk analytics. Utilities need a clear, defensible understanding of where their system is most vulnerable and the confidence to prioritize mitigation efforts based on real risk, not assumptions or outdated cycles.

Our Approach

 

We start with a full audit of the utility’s current wildfire strategy, inspection practices, and data maturity. RTS then builds a risk model that blends vegetation encroachment, terrain factors, weather exposure, and asset condition—creating a transparent, defensible prioritization framework.

Remote sensing is a core differentiator. RTS designs and deploys the right mix of UAS, fixed-wing LiDAR, imagery, infrared, and corona sensors to capture high-value intelligence across the system. That data is processed into actionable insights: defect detection, clearance modeling, fuel-load mapping, and vegetation-risk analytics.

Using these insights, RTS develops targeted mitigation plans, including risk-based vegetation work, asset hardening, operational strategies, and capital planning. RTS supports execution through training, field integration, QA/QC workflows, and ongoing monitoring so the program becomes part of everyday operations—not a once-a-year exercise.
